Samantha Cooper’s voice is a gentle force. Her songs speak for their sound; from contemplative respites to keen PSA’s. Sam’s voice and violin appear on over seventy midwest albums. Her roles include songwriter, session musician, youth worker, organizer, event producer and mediator. Sam primarily works with The Michigan Climate Action Network, The Great Lakes Water Protector Network, Great Lakes Creatives and Youth Arts Alliance. Sam also co-founded and co-produces Hearth & Hymn and Solidarity Songs, a choir sharing songs of grief and joy in solidarity with justice, healing and movement work.
