This hag torch is an ancient Celtic tool used for rituals of illumination and transformation especially when connecting with ancestors during the dark time of the year. It is made with a mullein stalk, dipped 13 times in local Michigan bees wax and rolled in petals of rose, calendula, anise hyssop and chamomile. To use remove the bees wax tip and put in a bowl of sand or dirt for added fire safety before lighting.
