Cacao & Movement Journey

May 26 @ 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Winter Cacao & Movement Journey

Join Hilary and August in this nourishing heart centered journey to connect through your own body and soul in community. We will honor the blossoming of spring together amidst whatever is present for us. Come to renew and refresh yourself and celebrate the beauty that is emerging within and around you. You’re invited to bring all of yourself exactly as you are to nurture your inner self and honor what is flowering.

We begin in an intentional circle with ceremonial cacao, an organic ethically sourced plant medicine that opens the heart and expands consciousness. Ceremonial cacao is served as a warm beverage, and is a gentle healing ally. After being with the cacao in meditation, participants are invited into a movement journey to feel, flow and express their bodies as we honor the wholeness of our experience.

There will be an opening circle and guidance throughout the evening to cultivate a conscious, nourishing, supportive space for inner exploration and safe connection with others as well as a closing circle. Please plan to attend for the full two and a half hours if possible. We will close the doors at 4:10pm to begin the ceremony. You’re welcome to arrive a few minutes early to get settled into the space and your body.

The gathering will be held in a spacious community location at the Carnegie Building on carpeted floors. We will bring some blankets and cushions and we invite you to bring whatever will help you to feel comfortable: layered clothing, your own blanket and or cushion, plenty of water and a journal are highly recommended and an altar item if you’re feeling inspired.

Come as you are, all are welcome: people of all sizes, shapes, ages and abilities – no prior experience is needed.

Self Investment: We have a tiered exchange based on a structure developed by The Embody Lab so that more people are able to access and join in the experience reflective of different financial circumstances. Please make the choice that feels most aligned & generous to you. See links to register below.

Thank you for this experience. I am looking forward to bringing cacao into my personal practice. I love the soft subtle connection it makes. I loved how earthy it felt and tasted. I love the warmth and vibration of it. I felt safe in the space that Hilary and August created. I am on a journey to cultivate safety and bravery and I was able to let go and that felt like spiritual freedom.
